OUR ST ANDREWS HOME
Our new distillery, located on the banks of the Eden Estuary overlooking the iconic St Andrews skyline, offers immersive gin and whisky experiences where we will share the craft and story behind our award-winning spirits.
Our top-floor cocktail bar, The Lookout, offers incredible views over the water towards the town - the perfect space to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink or two.
Situated on the site of the old paper mill in the Guardbridge area of St Andrews, this space was once home to a different distillery that closed down at the end of the 1800s. After lying still for over 150 years, we are excited to revive the tradition of distilling in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Where else can you sip on a single malt and play a round of golf at St Andrews — all without leaving the building? Our Golf Simulator brings the world’s most iconic golf courses to the heart of the distillery.
THE LOOKOUT BAR
Get ready to take your seat at the top of the distillery – literally. Perched on the top floor of the distillery, The Lookout Cocktail Bar offers fantastic views across the Eden Estuary and the iconic St Andrews skyline.
OUR FIRST CASK FILLED
At the beginning of April, the first cask was filled at the new distillery, marking a very special day for our team and our brand.
After twenty-one months of extensive building work following the handover from the University of St Andrews, we now have a fully operational distillery where we have restarted both gin and single malt distillation.
This occasion marks a step change for our business and follows years of hard work by our small and dedicated team. Our visitor centre is still in progress but in the meantime, we are welcoming our private cask owners on-site to fill their casks.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
Step into a world of crafted spirits and immersive experiences at our distillery. Explore the art and science behind distillation and enjoy gin and whisky tours at our world-class visitor centre.
After your tour, or as a standalone experience, you can come up to our cocktail bar with breathtaking views over the Eden Estuary.
You'll also be able to pick up items from our curated collection of gifts in our retail space and even try your hand at a golf in our cutting-edge golf simulator.
SUSTAINABILITY
Given our location on the Eden Campus, we have been progressing our distillery build with sustainability at the front of our minds. Our gin still will be powered by 100% rewewable electricity, coming either from the University's solar farm or from sustainable tarriffs on the grid.
We are also the first distillery in Scotland to officially partner with MiAlgae, a Scottish biotech company who will collect effluent waste from our distillery and use it to produce sustainable Omega-3s, reducing the reliance on fish supplies.
We have other initiatives up our sleeves and we are looking forward to working closely with the local community once our distillery is open.
