Your Golf Club can now own it's own piece of St Andrews
We are making 36 of the first casks we have filled in our new distillery available to be purchased by the most revered golf courses in the USA. With up to 50,000 visitors to our distillery expected each year, our iconic new building will be a hotspot for global golf travelers making their pilgrimage to St Andrews. Here, they will play the world-class links courses before finishing their day with whisky tours and cocktails in our elegant bar overlooking the waters of the Eden Estuary.
What does mean for your club?
Your cask in 'The Distillers Vault'
Your club will own your very own little piece of St Andrews, filled with new-make spirit. It will then be stored safely inside our Distiller’s Vault to mature for up to twelve years.
The Distiller's Vault is a small, unique space situated inside the walls of the distillery itself which will hold just 300 casks. It will only be accessible to those who form part of our private cask ownership programmes.
A legacy for your club
By owning this cask, you are creating something your members can enjoy for years to come. As a small, dynamic company, we can give you flexibility regarding what you do at the end of your agreement and so your legacy can take a number of different forms. After maturing inside the sanctuary of the Distiller's Vault, you can decide to leave it to mature for a longer period (note that if this exceeds 12 years, an additional cost will be incurred). Bottle it and have it shipped to your club or keep it in our distillery to be enjoyed by your members when they come over to visit.
Whatever you choose to do, our distilling team will be on hand to offer guidance and recommendations.
Additional benefits for your members
While your members may already have visited the hallowed streets of St Andrews and played its famous courses, we can guarantee they will never have set foot in our distillery. As a member of our Golf Club Cask Collection your members and their guests will:
• Enjoy bespoke complimentary whisky and gin tasting experiences hosted by our expert Brand Ambassadors.
• Receive a behind-the-scenes tour into our Distiller’s Vault and sample your club’s whisky directly from the cask.
• Enjoy preferential access to our top-floor distillery cocktail bar.
What better way to finish a day of golf in the Home of Golf than with a single malt that has been distilled in the very same place?

About Eden Mill
The only Whisky Distillery in St Andrews
Founded in 2012, Eden Mill brought the lost art of distilling back to the area of St Andrews. A site rich with history, the whisky stories around this area date back to the late 1700s. All distillation ceased towards the end of the 1800s and it lay still for over 150 years until we began distilling single malt and gin again.
Our brand-new distillery, with its three distinctive black peaks that can be spotted from the 9th hole of the Old Course, will become operational this year. We will continue to distil our premium spirits and can’t wait to become an exciting new attraction in this iconic town.
Scotland's Newest Whisky Region
Our home is in the Kingdom of Fife on the East Coast of Scotland. In recent years, there has been a small whisky revolution taking place here which has seen it start to become a whisky-making region in its own right.
Many more tourists are now coming to the area specifically to visit distilleries alongside their trips to more established whisky regions like Speyside and Islay. We know that our new visitor centre will attract even more people through its doors once they open and we are excited about seeing Fife become increasingly celebrated for its single malt production.
Progressing Sustainably
Our new distillery has a unique location on the University of St Andrews Eden Campus. This site is dedicated to sustainable business practice and research, and this is at the front of our minds as we build our new home.
Our gin still will be powered by the University’s solar farm and we will capture the carbon dioxide we produce – a by-product of the fermentation process – to be used for other purposes. We are also working with a company called MiAlgae, who will reuse our processed effluent to produce sustainable Omega-3.
In addition to this, we are constantly looking for ways in which we can continue to improve our environmental impact.
A Brand With Big Ambition
We recently launched our brand in the USA and have made excellent progress in California with our distributor, Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits.
Last February, we activated our brand at the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles. This saw us secure exclusive pouring rights on our gin, as well as advertising across the four days of the tournament. We were proud to be the Official Gin of the Genesis Scottish Open in July, and we’re currently in talks with the US PGA Tour regarding further activations in the future
Going forward, we will continue to expand with a focus on the golf community in California, as well as in Arizona, Florida and other select states.
